William "Bill" Durham, 79, from Brookhaven, passed peacefully from this world on January 25, 2026 in Brookhaven, MS. He was surrounded by family and friends.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb from 10 A.M. until services at 12 noon. Rev. Wade Barnes will officiate and burial will be in Durham Cemetery in Magnolia, MS
Bill was born in Magnolia, MS on April 2, 1946. He is the son of the late, Menton D. Durham I and Hilda Coon Durham.
Bill was a member of East Union Baptist church of Magnolia, MS, where his dad was a deacon. He loved to fish, play cards, watch westerns "John Wayne" and, most of all, spend time with his family and friends. He was a dairy milk hand (favorite job, Stewart Dairy in Gillsburg, MS) and a security guard at Seago Lumber until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Thomas "Tommy" Durham Sr. and John David Durham (Infant); two sister-in-laws Charlotte Durham and Cathy Durham; one brother-in-law Charles Laird; one nephew Richard "Ricky" Laird, and previous wife Eunice Westmoreland.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty three years, Donna Boyd Durham; four daughters Syble "Michelle" Durham of Magnolia, Amanda "Manda Faye" Morel (Terry) of McComb, Christina "Christy" Boyd (Jacob) of Gulfport, and Kimberly "Kim" Taylor (Will) of Newberry, Florida; one son William "Jack" Durham (Debra) of Moss Point, MS; one sister Linda Laird (C.W.) of Magnolia; two brothers Clifton Durham of Magnolia and Menton Durham II (Ann) of McComb, MS; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren with 2 arriving soon and numerous nieces and nephews and special friends Ralph Case and Mikel Chisholm.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Boyd, Jennifer Spradlin, Terry Morel, Lee Thornhill, Christian Garrison, and Trent Kohnert
Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandsons Justin Durham, Allan Kohnert, Devin Kohnert, Blake Boyd, Dakota Floyd, Frank Durham, and his friends Jake Dykes, Johnny Knight, and Bruce Hedrick and Sammy Barnes
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hartman-Jones Funeral Home c/o for his family.
