William Michael “Mike” Thweatt, 73, a resident of McComb, MS passed away at his residence on October 12, 2026.

A visitation will be held Saturday, October 17, 2026 at North McComb Baptist Church from 10:30 AM until services at 11 AM. Bro. Laverne Summerlin will officiate.

Mike was born on January 25, 1953 in Tupelo, MS to the late William Albert Thweatt Jr and Patricia Delk Thweatt. He attended Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS and was a member of the Acacia Fraternity. He married his wife, Alice, in December of 1979. Mike began his career at the Five Corners Gulf Station, while taking care of his older son, Denny. He later worked for 14 years at Kellwood Mill, and then worked another 14 years at Walmart, retiring in 2018. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 46 loving years, Alice Pickering Thweatt; his sons William Denton Thweatt (Stephanie) of Bonham, TX and Michael Martin Thweatt of McComb, MS; and two sisters Michelle Thweatt Works and Deborah Thweatt.
