January 23, 1985 – August 30, 2024
William Christopher "Chris" Woodall, Sr., 39, a resident of Brookhaven, MS; passed away August 30, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at East Union Baptist Church from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at East Union Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until services at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Powells Grove Pentecostal Church in Jayess. Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Chris was born on January 23, 1985 to Darlene and Billy Woodall, He was a child of God. He was the owner/operator of MS Elite Construction. He enjoyed his family and especially his children, spending time coaching them and others. He was a great father and uncle. His niece Grace described him as "funny and is now at peace." He was strong and a backbone to his mother and siblings. He was a hardworking and devoted to his passion and was exceeding in it. He was a loyal friend who will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, his brother Steven "Tank" Woodall, a son Steven Eathan Woodall.
He is survived by his mother and step father, Darlene and Jon Hutcherson of Brookhaven, his wife Shannon Woodall of Brookhaven, his children Makayla (Tajah) Black of Brookhaven, CJ Woodall of Wesson, Talan Woodall of Brookhaven, Miracle Hardin of Shephard, TX, Payton Woodall of Bogue Chitto, Aiden Woodall of Brookhaven, Jaidyn Woodall of Brookhaven, step children Jared Allen of Brookhaven, RJ Allen of Brookhaven, Abbey Ritchie of Brookhaven, and SJ Ritchie of Brookhaven, a brother Kenny (Jamie) Woodall of Brookhaven, a sister Kim (Caine Boyd) Woodall of Tylertown, a brother Justin Helton of McComb, and a sister Jessica (Matthew) Strong of McComb, grandchildren Mitchel, Cameron, Liam and Katlin, several nieces and nephews, a great nephew Luca Judd, special friends Robin Jackson, Jessica McDermott, Audra Pelton and Desiree White, along with a host of other friends.
Pallbearers will be: Kenny Woodall, Dallas Bass, BJ Burris, Chris Jackson, Nick Hodges, Tajah Black, Caine Boyd and Jared Allen.
Honorary pallbearers will be CJ Woodall and Talon Woodall.
