Willie R. King, 71, of Jayess, MS passed away on March 28, 2024 at Courtyard Nursing and Rehab.

Visitation will take place Friday, March 29, 2024 at Dinan Baptist Church in Tylertown, MS from 2 PM until services at 3 PM. Bro. David Parker and Wayne Thornhill will officiate. Burial will take place at Greer Cemetery. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Kris King, Jad Davis, Nick Russell, Josh Morris, Wes Roberts, and Brian Lowery. Honorary Pallbearer will be Ty King.

Willie was born on February 19, 1953 to the late Sambo and Martha Hudson King.

Willie was a well known member of the Enon Community. He enjoyed fishing and working in the shop. After he retired, a lot of days you could find him piddling in the shop with his only grandson, Ty. He was a father figure to many. He would give you the shirt off his back and not expect anything in return.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Billy Gerald King; and his sister, Judith Ann Dyess.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Mary King; one son, Kris King (Sara); one brother, Mickle Lee King; one grandchild, Ty King; his "one and only daughter", Brandy "NoNo" Russell; his "adopted" sons, Jad "Prisoner" Davis and Ronnie James Martin; a close nephew, PJ King; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
