Mr. Willie Edward Myers, 74, a resident of Summit, passed away his residence on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

Memorial services will be held at Hartman-Jones Chapel at 2 P.M. on Friday, April 7, 2023.  Visitation will be from 1 till service time at 2.

He was born March 9, 1949 in Amite County, Mississippi, the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Myers and Louise Emma Pezant Myers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Benard Myers, Lee Myers, Wayne Myers, and Robert Earl Myers and one sister, Evelyn Greer.

Mr. Myers was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by one son, Willie Edward Myers, Jr. of Summit; three daughters, Cynthia Carol Myers of Pelahatchie, Mississippi, Kimberly Joy Myers of Ohio, and Cynthia Louise Myers of Summit; one brother, Thomas Jefferson Myers, Jr. of Summit; one sister, Clara Mae Lowe of Fernwood and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
