Willie Fay was born August 27, 1934. She married the love of her life Mr. Jerry Neal Turnage in 1953 and resided in Fernwood, MS. Willie Fay was an active member of South McComb Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly.

Willie Fay was affectionately known as Mrs. Willie at Parklane Academy, where she taught for 18 years. In the 89 years that Mrs. Willie lived, she was so many things to so many people. She was a daughter, a wife, mother, a Mimi, a teacher and a friend. She had a heart of gold and could always be counted on.

Visitations will be Wednesday, November 1, 2023 form 9 AM until services at 11 AM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM at Reeves Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lee and Iris Smith, husband Jerry Neal Turnage, daughter Jerri Lynn Turnage and grandson, Joshua Turnage.

She is survived by her son, Greg Turnage, her grandchildren, Haley Turnage-Bigner and husband Alan, Allison Walley, Tate Walley, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Our hearts are saddened by our loss her on Earth, but we will cherish and remember all the moments and memories we shared with her. We know she is now in heaven with our Heavenly Father, her husband, her daughter and her parents. Her strength, kind demeanor, nurturing heart, the way she lived, set examples for her family and friends, will always be remembered. Most importantly her smile. She will be truly missed by us all. We love you Mimi and miss you, but we can all rejoice in the fact we will see you again in Heaven.
