Wilma C. Whittington, 96, of McComb, MS passed away on October 6, 2022 at Aston Court in McComb.

A graveside service will be held Sunday October 9, 2022 at 2 PM in Hollywood cemetery. Dr. David Millican will officiate. Hartman-Jones funeral home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Wilma was born in McComb, MS on May 1, 1926 to the late Wilmer and Lena McGeehee Casey.

Wilma was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of McComb. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed her membership in the Sunny Hill Club as well as other clubs in the McComb area. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed growing flowers and she was a gifted quilter and seamstress. Her greatest accomplishment was caring for her family. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl N. Whittington.

Those left to cherish her memory is a son Bill Whittington (Shirley), a daughter Lynn Flint, one grandson Robby Baskett and one sister Joann Strickland (Harold), a special family friend Lou Boyd with numerous nieces and nephews.
