Wilmer Jesse Adams, 85, passed away at UMC Medical Center on November 24, 2024.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 29, 2024 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 5 PM until 8 PM, continuing Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 12 PM until services at 2 PM. Bro. Eddie Myers will officiate and burial will be at Pike Memorial Gardens. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born in Bogue Chitto, MS. Mr. Adams retired from Noble Drilling where he worked for 39 years in the Oil Field. Mr. Adams loved fishing and being outside.

Mr. Adams is survived by his four daughters Angie Cernich and husband Andrew Cernich of Greensburg, LA, Patricia Howe and husband Robert "Bo Jack" Howe of Bogue Chitto, Leah Massengale and husband Brad Massengale of Ovett, MS, and Christie Jordan and Charles "Chuck" Jordan of Andrews, TX; Seven grandchildren Heather Cernich, Donavan Howe and fiancé Stephanie Aultman, Dustin Adams and wife Nikki, Stacey Holden, Brittnie Nations and husband John, AJ Cernich, and Will Jordan; nine great-grandchildren; his sister Brenda Shaw; two brothers Bennie Adams and Danny Adams; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Adams of 53 years of marriage; his siblings Cecil Adams, Jerry Adams, Jake Adams, Linda Adams, Lynn Calcote, and Kathy Guilliams; his parents Jesse "Jay Bird" Adams and Pearlie May Dunaway.

Mr. Adams was loved by many.

Pallbearers will be Elton Hodges, Clarence Lilly, Alton Adams, Darren Lambert, Danial Lambert, and Jacob Young.
